Goals

Today's book blogger appreciation week topic is goals, specifically what goals do I have for this blog. Well, I'll tell you. I like to wander around and explore things; if I have to have a system (like a list) it starts sounding too much like work to me. So this is what I will say about goals--I'll try to consciously read some better books, write some more interesting reviews, and visit other blogs as often as I can. As for the rest, I will quote Thoreau, who says "We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal and then leap in the dark to our success."

To end book blogger appreciation week, I say a word of thanks to everyone who visited here, and especially to Pages Turned and Sophisticated Dorkiness, who were kind enough to spotlight my blog as one of their favorites. The feeling is mutual.

I have a feeling that in real life, other than a love for books and laughter, the two of us are very different people. I'm like the exact opposite in that I love lists, to the point of deleting old lists in order to make new ones. Really, this makes me the ultimate nerd. :D

Amanda, There are a lot of bloggers who like lists, so not liking them just makes me odd woman out.

Bermudaonion, thanks!

Care, I was influenced to find a quote by reading Pages Turned, who did a book meme recently by quoting famous authors for each answer. It was clever and stuck in my mind!
