. . . and other truths we learn from literature
My family was playing "Would You Rather" and got a card asking whether we'd rather have three questions answered or be able to resurrect someone. The kids and I went for the three questions, but Ron was hesitating over resurrection. "Oh come on," I said, "necromancy never pays; literature shows us this over and over."
"Oh yeah," Ron said, "The Monkey's Paw."
And then we went on to the next card. Some things are just clear, once you remember all the stuff you've read about them.

Have a great time! I can't wait to hear about it!
Sounds delightful! I hope you find rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation.
Have a WONDERFUL vacation, Jeanne!
Have a lovely time.
I'll miss ya!
Have a nice vacation!
Have a good time away from the internets! (Won't nature be too hot to be enjoyable?)
Enjoy your time away!
Have fun and we'll see you when you get back!
Thank you all; we had a terrific time! Jenny, I was in and around Charleston, SC during a heat wave and loved it. Nature rarely gets too hot for my taste. I go south to get a bit of hot weather!
